Glo State

The Brand Story Behind Glo State Experiences

Glo State Experiences is not an event planning and design concept that I merely stumbled into. In truth this brand was handcrafted with heartfelt intention, deep rooted values, and unhurried connection. Not only because, as a previous business owner in the industry, I’ve seen what unfolds on the other side; but because from the beginning I knew that Glo State’s legacy would only burn as slow and bright as I envisioned if every aspect was embodied.

Know that this brand story, my story, is not polished up for the plot. I am a multi passionate woman of wild wanderlust who has spent years: fighting, fixing, healing, discovering, and evolving. Just to be in my Glo State with you now.

My hope is that by sharing this, you will not only see me as I am, but that you will see yourself in the narrative too. Let this be your reminder that, despite how our adventures take shape, we are all in this imperfect, yet divine human experience together. & have much more in common up close than you’d believe.

Come along with me, and I’ll take you back to where it all started:

I’ve always felt called to discover what burns beyond the luminous.

I guess the luster of life never kept me from grounding into anyone or anything I found to be madly true. Which I didn’t realize was my purpose until my soul started running parallel with the wild unknown.

You see, in 2018 my husband and I moved to Jackson Hole not only to be closer to family, but to unravel from the constant motion we had grown so accustomed to. At the time we chalked it up to another one of our grand adventures together, but it became so much more.

The mountains cracked me wide-open. Gave me a safe place to call my own. It was almost as if the deeper I surrendered to the West, the more a vivacious, creative version of myself began to rebelliously rise. & I liked the woman that was surfacing.

So much so that I bet on her by launching Elope Jackson, an intimate wedding and event planning company, below the Tetons in 2019.

Whether it was the pandemic’s push to wed intentionally or magnetism at her finest; the brand caught on like wildfire (and so did I). The first two years at Elope Jackson was a rush I had never experienced before. One I never wanted to come down from. I not only designed and planned over 60 couple’s elopements from all over the world and made a name for myself in the intimate event industry; but, for the first time, I felt as though I was in my fullest expression.

Yet, after a handful of booked out wedding seasons, I got lost somewhere in the motions.

The deep intentions that I started Elope Jackson with began to fade. Not only as a result of my lack of balance that led to immense burn out, but the flux of copy and pasted quick hitches that took up space on my calendar. I quickly realized that I was no longer in business for the right reasons. Which meant those surrounding me were approaching their most memorable celebrations just the same. & I knew that I could no longer move forward in this inauthentic, disconnected form. Not for my community or couples and surely not for myself.

In the spring of 2023 I sold Elope Jackson when my husband and I moved down south to Alabama.

Another one of our grand adventures.

I spent the next year turning back into myself: grieving what was, turning “failure” into flow, sitting with creation, shedding the shoulds, making art from what remained, healing heart-centered, unveiling the values in my own marriage, and embodying all the lessons and love I witnessed under the Wyoming skies.

What reemmerged from my personal awakening was not only an unfiltered sense of freedom (and a final move back home to Wyoming), but the same dreams and desires I’ve always held.

Turns out I was in my Glo State all along.

I was just sourcing new light from everywhere but within.

Until now.
